Summer dance 2024

IDA Summer Intensive July 7th – 18th, 2025

Offering five levels of programming with daily classes in ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary & tap. Minimum of 3.5-5 hours daily. For experienced dancers aged 10 & up.

  • Minimum age 10 - Completed RAD grade 3 or equivalent

    This program is for our current junior-level dancers. All our intensive dancers (junior & higher) MUST take two weeks of summer dance to qualify for the next season.

  • Minimum age 12 - Working on RAD grade 6 (or equivalent) & higher

    This program is for our current pre-intermediate & intermediate-level dancers. All our intensive dancers (junior & higher) MUST take two weeks of summer dance to qualify for the next season.

  • Minimum age 13 - Working on RAD grade 8/ Intermediate (or equivalent) & higher

    This program is for our current senior & pursuit level dancers. All our intensive dancers (junior & higher) MUST take two weeks of summer dance to qualify for next season.

  • Petite Summer Dance Intensive

    July 14th – 18th 2025

    This is for dancers recommended into our petite intensive program (or potential future prospects). Must have dance experience.

  • Pre Junior Summer Dance Intensive

    July 14th – 18th 2025

    A fun, imaginative dance and craft camp for preschoolers/kindergarteners. Daily morning classes will incorporate crafts, dance and creative movement with an encanto-based theme.

  • Summer Dance for 7-9 year olds

    August 18th – 22nd 2025

    This is a great program for new or exploring dancers interested in pursuing some dance. Daily classes in ballet, contemporary movement, jazz & musical theatre. We will hold a dance display for families on the final day. A great way to sample dance before making a huge commitment.

  • Themed Summer Dance Camp For Preschoolers

    August 11th – 15th 2025

    A fun summer dance camp for 4-6 year olds. Daily themed crafts will be constructed along with themed lesson plans. No dance experience is necessary!
